Excellent Korean restaurant option in downtown Santa Rosa to satisfy your bbq or banchan cravings. Shared space with Haku Sushi if you're indecisive because you can choose from both menus! What we ordered: -2 item dinner combo set (bulgogi and soondobu) -Bulgogi: a little too sweet for my preference but nice char from the sizzling plate -Soondobu (Korean tofu soup): delicious soup base! Made me order extra rice which I never do. -Banchan: comes with the set (fish cake and Japchae were the best) -Steamed egg: must get! Fluffy and savory served piping hot. Don't worry if the bottom is slightly burnt (it's the proper style that gives the egg a toasted flavor) -Kimchi pajeon (pancake): dipping sauce was the bomb.com -Ice cream: seasonal house made flavors like mint chocolate chip. Refreshing and served with frozen rasberry kernels and pocky. A hidden gem. ~$95 for two was decent value as we ordered appetizers and had leftovers. Come for the steamed egg and tofu soup. Stay for the seasonal ice cream and cute indoor seating that gives your party a private feel.

Food was amazing and was also very high quality looking before cooking the service was what I've come to expect from Korean bbq joints. If you are a Korean bbq enthusiast or speak Korean you'll have a much better time as they did poor job answering any questions due to language barrier. The place a very clean and well put together the looked like a fun place to take a large crowd to. Michu was by far the star of the whole night

The food was fast and I recommend getting the set/combo. It was good overall. It did give me a little toilet problem.

Stopped by for solo dinner as I really wanted Korean food. I originally wanted to get their banchan omakase but the server said that it's not quite a meal. So I got a combo instead, the kalbi was super tasty. I was a little surprised because I forgot to ask for no spicy for the soodubu, but it was not as spicy as I thought. They both paired really well. The banchan was also tasty but you have to pay for a refill. If I come back again, I'd definitely come with someone else so we can order the banchan omakase. Staff was friendly, there was inexpensive parking lot next door.

I love Korean food and had to try HanBul. I really enjoyed the LA Kalbi. It was served with rice , soup and a banchan sampler of eight small items. They also had homemade ice cream. I've tried the black sesame flavor from various ice creameries and HanBul is one of the best. The service was good. I look forward to returning:)

This place used to be a bit confusing for me when I first started coming here, as they would always ask if I wanted to eat sushi OR kbbq (to which I would reply, both, obviously lol). According to the staff, due to COVID and low staffing issues, HanBul combined entities with Haku Sushi (they were merely sister restaurants prior). I think that was a great idea, as it allows you to get the best of both worlds of KBBQ and sushi in one restaurant. They also offer beer, wine, and sake. The interior of this restaurant has a cozy ambiance, characterized by soft, ambient lighting. It creates a minimalist yet inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a quaint corner in Japan. Being accustomed to all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ establishments for so many years, this place is a little pricey for what you get. For the same price or less as a meal here, you can get AYCE at many other KBBQ spots. I also noticed that when two people order a KBBQ combo set (which should both come with side dishes) only one banchan set has come out, and if more sides are requested, there is an additional charge. That doesn't make sense to me. I will say that the flavors are consistent and we do leave feeling satisfied. The sushi is very good (highly recommend the Love Boat which comes out lit on fire). I also appreciate that they are open til midnight every night. Our go-to order is typically the 2 item combo set with either spicy pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, kalbi, japchae, or doenjang stew. Spicy pork bulgogi is a lot more flavorful than the beef. Kalbi and Japchae are always on point. The beef bibimpap is also worth trying. Overall, I do enjoy my time here and I'll keep coming back.

This is one of our go-to restaurants, especially in winter when their hot and hearty food den even more satisfying. We typically get the combo specials, with bulgogi and one of their four delicious stews. We prefer the Kimchi Stew - as it is piping hot, a little spicy, and has great hunks of tofu and pork. The banchan is a great addition too - it's always a culinary treat to get to try all of the small plates too. The dining room is really cool too - and usually pretty lively - it seems like they are always busy! Be sure to leave room for desert- the in-house made ice cream is a real treat!
